We aim not only to educate others about the sport of fishing, but also wants the community to be educated on how they can be good stewards of their environment.

— Our Story
In 2014, for his birthday, Sam Baker wanted to do something different than a traditional party so he challenged his buddies to catch a slam in one day (a trout, a red fish, and a flounder).Â
Afterwards, whatever they caught was served up in a celebratory fish fry with friends and family. What was supposed to be a few friends competing and claiming bragging rights has now grown to become the Sol Margin Fishing & Conservation Foundation.
